I own a mustang GT 2007 Manual and bought C&L plus tune from Brenspeed.

I keep listening an air sound coming from the CAI since i installed it and been wondering since, i want to know if this is a normal sound or not.

If the car is idle and press gas i can hear like air coming from it and while driving changing from 2gear to 3gear sometimes i can listen to it, is this normal ?

What is the behaviour when having leaks in the CAI ?

When my filter is clean the sound is something like the sound of a four bbl carb opening up. If the sound you describe is more of a hissing sound, I think it may be a leak, just check your seals.

yes; to be able to hear air coming through any CAI is normal. some make more noise than others. i have a JLT2 and i only hear it at WOT; however i've heard others that you could hear under any kind of spitited accelleration

My BBK makes a Chhhhh sound when I nail the throttle or change gears. It lasts about a second.

It's one of the benefits of a CAI.. more cool noises. Personally, I love the sound. It should sound like a sucking/hissing sound. For good measure though, check to make certain everything is tight. Have someone give your car a little gas has you inspect the CAI and it's connections. Standing next to a big cone filter as it sucks in tons of air will give you a better perspective.
