just like the title says. i feel like a freakin retard not being able to figure it out. i dont want to just yank on it because im thinkin maybe there is a screw on it or a clip somewhere? anyone know how to open the fuse box? oh, and just tobe clear im not talking about the kick panel cover, i mean the cover on the fuse box itself. thanks for the help.

There is a tab indention.
Fingernail from there and it pops out.

I ran into same "problem" a few weeks ago. I had just connected my SCT tuner in order to upload a Brenspeed tune when the instrument panel cluster fuse popped. I too felt like an idiotbecause I could not get the Fuse box's cover off (poor design by Ford)after I removed access panel. A helpful tech at Brenspeed suggested I take entire kick panel and "Mustang" door sill cover off to get to fuse box - which I did. Actually, it was quite simple to pop them both off (gently pull sill off, then kick panel), and back on again. It was then pretty easy to get to fuses.

I just never put mine back after I took it off around a year ago.

Go to saleen website, download their supercharger instructions. Scroll down to the partwhere they show how to take off the kick panel. They have pics. You have to lift up on the rocker panel first, then pull kick panel out.

Thats bad news if you ever have the underdash water dispenser
problem. The cover provides some level of water intrusion resistance.
