Failing State Inspections w/my C&L CAI & Brenspeed Tune
Here in Texas I've just had my 2006 GT inspected twice (30 miles apart) and failed twice simply because their machine shows my O2 Sensors are iin a 'not ready' status (the 'readiness monitor' portion of the OBDII State Inspection). The tech told me to drive it 70 miles or so and return. Any one else had this problem? My only mod is a Brenspeed 93 octane tune and C&L CAI.
Thanks,
DH

that wont do anything.....the rear O2s are shut off in the tune, you need to have them either send you a tune with them turned on, or take the CAI off and return the tune to the stock one

Crap...I cant believe I'm the only guy running into this...sounds like a lot of work. Hopefully the Brenspeed folks can reprogram my SCT II to fix it...guess I'll find out after the holiday.

Where in Tx are you at?? Do what howarmat says, reinstall your stock intake and stock tune and go get it inspected....115 min job if that. I went to Jiffy Lube here in San Antonio when I had to get my 06 inspected and the hardest part of the whole inspection was the two guys arguing who was going to write up the paperwork, they were more interested in the car more than anything.

unfortunately i got rid of the stock intake setup. Is it sufficient to simply reflash it back to stock and keep the C&L CAI in place?
