Hello !

I own a mustang GT 2007 Manual and bought C&L plus tune from Brenspeed.

I keep listening an air sound coming from the CAI since i installed it and been wondering since, i want to know if this is a normal sound or not.

If the car is idle and press gas i can hear like air coming from it and while driving changing from 2gear to 3gear sometimes i can listen to it, is this normal ?

What is the behaviour when having leaks in the CAI ?

Yep, perfectly normal. That is the sound of 5 dollar a gallon gas being guzzled..... The air sucking sound is fine, and yes, occasionally when I shut mine down, I get the air rush sound you describe....

If you had a leaky connection, the car would run very rough, and probably throw a code.....

Does the CAI make the exhaust tone sound different? I had an eclipse way back when and when I got a CAI it made a huge difference in sound.
