I just purchased a mustang gt 350 7 months ago. What is the difference between the Gt and The GT 350 beside the decal or did I get had ? Still love the car

There's no such thing as a modern GT350. It's just a stripe someone put on the side of their car.

A little vinyl tape on the side.You have a fake. It wasn't made by Shelby like the original 350 back in the 1960's. Somebody was a poser and just liked the look. I have seen a GT 300. Again, fake, no such animal.

This is why you will see such negativity when people say how they want to put Cobra badges (or anything artificial) on their car!

There are so many litle things people do, and so many different models of the new S197, that there will be lots of future, used Mustang buyers asking similar questions!
So study the model well!

I wonder if there's a website for rich guys who get young trophy wives asking how to tell if their breasts, lips or noses are original!!![:-]

I have seen GT350 marked cars who's owners bought them new from a Ford dealer. Apparently there were dealers dressing up some of these cars prior to being sold on the lot.
