Default MGW is amazing

I got back from out of town and had a MGW waiting for me at home and decided to throw it in right away and all I can say is WOW! There is no play at all in any direction and the shifting feels amazing, I've driven cars with hurst and 5.0 shifters and they felt good, but the MGW feels amazing, and it was super easy to install, that hardest part was getting the dust boot on the MGW. With the procharger I put in I found my feet working quicker then my hands and I would miss a shift occationally, but I dont see it happening with this one. For those of you with the MGW how many turns did you back it out from? I backed it out 6 full turns but I think it could be a little shorter but I'm worried about it rubbing on the driveshaft.

And no rubbing on the driveshaft? You have the stock DS?

I installed mine two days ago and I love it.

Mine's a little notchy. Is that something I can fix with adjustment?

I debated the MGW vs the new Hurst Billet.....ended up going with the Hurst to save some money (has the stops included) and asthetics.

With our transmissions you don't need the shift stops anyway. They're built into the transmission.

Congrats - i too am much happier with the MGW went full 10 turns and change out the trany fluid with RP Syncromax, much more responsive. I put my Hurst in a friends car and changed his fluid too and the Hurst was much smother
