Default Old-School Shelby tail lights

I'm pretty decent with plastic moulds and have been working on a protoype for an old school Shelby tail light conversion for the S197 that's a bolt in and is reversible. This horrible photoshop gives you a general idea of what I'm going for.

I havent seen any thing similar for sale, probably because I have to break the tail lights up due to the trunk lip, although the wiring wont be as much of a problem as I had thought. Would there be a market for these if they turn out good or do you think the reference is too obscure?

I'd buy them the moment you posted a link to them. no doubt, this is a must-have to really set-off the retro styling. do it

Looks awesome!! What are you doing with the trunk? How would you mount these. on the S197 the trunk lid sits between the tail lights. I love this look and would be very curious as to how it would be implemented.
