When I lived inAZ (Tucson)the pigs were ****** about my tint!!! I got pulled over no less than 5 times in 3 years (and no I'm not an excessive speeder - this was in my '97 Ranger - trust me, I couldn't haul *** if I wanted to!)!!!

Anyways...most dealerships will NOT put on illegal tint, because if caught they will have to pay for any fines incurred. Then again, if you slip them a little "sumthin sumthin", I'm sure they'll oblige you!!!

Good luck dude, post pics when it's finished!

that's what I fugured. Maybe I could just get them to put the 35% on, but over the factory tint...that's got to be like 20ish right? Haha.

over here in the east valley I see people with 5% all around all over the place. I honestly can't imagine that the police check it often. Anyway, I got 35% on the fronts and 5% on the quarters and rear. It looks good on a black car with black interior (doesn't look goofy with such a difference like I see on sedans and such) but it's a pain at night or even during sunset. The rear view is bad enough with the gt500 spoiler but I can't really see the cars behind me unless they have their lights on. If I did it again I'd probably go 35% fronts and 15% rear (and agreed probably 5% for the quarters with louvers).

very sunny arizona day:

through the side 35%

through the rear 5%

Hey thanks a lot, pictures are worth a thousand words. I guess if I have to I can live with 35% but I think I may do what you suggest and go with a 15% or so in the rear, after all I work nights so most of my driving is in the dark haha.
