I decided that spending over $100 for Strut Cover Caps was ridiculous...so I started making my own!

I have attached 2 pictures, let me know what you think...keep in mind - this is a work in progress!!!

That's different. I went with a slightly differnet approach.

I bought 2 round disks on ebay ($4.25) and painted them body color. I then painted the threads on the shock the same color and pushed the disks on top of the shocks. It came out nice and was a real cheap mod. For Father's day my son gave me the MGW caps so I'm using those now.

those ***** are as smooth as eggs. very interesting, you have a lot of time on your hands, lol.
you should get a strut tower brace ifyou can find one thatfits over yoursupercharger.

What's wrong with smooth *****??? [sm=icon_rock.gif]

I have seen only one brace that fits, and it actually fits under the top portion of the supercharger. I don't think it looks cool for about $400...but that's just me!

those strut towers really are an eyesore. I like the MGW ones a lot but they are a bit on the pricey side.
What other things have you used to cover these up?
