Default "PASSENGER DOOR AJAR"

So I was driving today and I get a "PASSENGER DOOR AJAR" message on the message center, so i pull over and shut the passenger door firmly, and then start driving again. Not 30 seconds later, I get the same message. I think, maybe iI hadnt closed it hard enough last time, so i close it again, and i again get the same message not half a minute later

So then i decide to find a parking lot and reflash my tune. same thing happens after the tune, so i return to stock. Everything seemed fine on the short drive home.

10 minutes I'm watching a movie, and i hear my alarm go off in the driveway. sure enough, the car thought some one was trying to break in because the passenger door was ajar according to the message center

so i disconnected the battery for a few minutes, and then reconnected and it hasnt gone off since (its been a few hours). I'll be getting an appointment at the dealership to have this fixed under warranty if it happens again

has anybody else had this problem? what did you do to fix it?

definately dealership time.....i'm
thinking either the door position
switch or the SJB, either way
it's not really something you are going
to want to mess with

The same guy who thought up the MalfunctionIndicatorLamp.

Seems like the 'pass side door is open' switch has gone flakey on ya
as ham put it.
