Steeda High Flow Elbow keeps coming loose!
I have the plastic high flow for the Steeda cold air intake. It keeps coming loose no matter what I try!
Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I tried blue loctite which helped for a while. Still, I check this morning and it's loose again. Any ideas?

I had a similar problem and think it was due to overtightening the clamp around the TB and distorting the elbow. Once I realigned everything and retightened with a little less torque it's been fine. I'd say I have over 12,000 miles on the CAI since the last time I had to adjust the elbow clamp. There are some other threads about this but I fear the search feature is FUBAR (Screwed Up Beyond Repair).

hmm...i have never had a problem with mine. like nuke said, loosen it up and check for deformities. if all is well, slap it back on and get it snug, just dont tighten it TOO tight

I had the same problem with C&L Racer tube.
I used a short flathead sheetmetal screw and drilled
a small holethru thesilicone and plastic tube, where
the band clamp would cover it, to make a locating pin.
This way you only need to tighten band enough to get
seal and screw prevents tube from moving, I did it at
both TBand MAF ends, been runing this way for20k mi
with no problems.
