Engine Swap Compatibility List?
 

Is there a compatibility list for engines that are able to swap into S197 Mustangs? If there is, post it here or point me in the right direction! Thanks fellers.

I did a search for "engine swap" here in this section of the forum and found no matches. Alternatively, I tried joining "chat" but that didn't work for whatever many reasons.

I have a 5.4 3v motor in mine. Buckman has a GT500 motor in his. I read that Mach 1 and Termi motors are a breeze in these cars.

Follow link to one with an Aston Martin engine swap. Maybe some of the Aston V8s might be easier than this V12 swap.

I was pretty much looking for what other Ford engines would bolt up. Will the 6.8L V10 bolt up?

Well ford stuck a v10 into the 99 04 engine bay so you should be able to fit one in ours.
