Dyno Tune Results
Got my Dyno Tune on 7/10. We cracked the Roush Lock on the PCM......obviously i have a Roush S/C. The first pull gave me 321 rw hp. translates to about 410 fwhp. Cold Air Kit & smaller pully added. Final pull got me 362 rwhp or about 470 ish fwhp. This was done on a Mustang Dyno. I was told that if I do a Dyno Jet pull I can expect another 20 hp. thats where the "contraversy" aspect comes in. The Mustang Dyno supposedly takes a moving car into it's calculations.........air resistance & a few other factors a Dyno Jet dose not. SO..........362 rwhp, 470ish fwhp. Oh yeah the formula to convert rwhp to fwhp is kinda vague. They say an automatic has a 20 to 25% loss of hp from the fw to the rw. My tuner gave me three custom tunes. No 1/4 mi runs yet that may happen later this weekend.

RE: Dyno Tune Results
The drivetrain loss is about 15% for manual and 18% for an auto, give or take a litte. Mustang dynos are a little lower (.9X DJ) but that is an extremely low number in all honestly....you should be up around 380-400 atleast. I say you still have a weak tune or something else isnt right.
Just my opinion

RE: Dyno Tune Results
~350 wheel hp is what most '02-'04 Corvette Z06s put down so that is ~405 flywheel hp. Your pushing some nice power to the rear wheels. A mustang dyno does read lower than a dynojet but maybe10-15hp at the most.
Enjoy that Mustang!
