When I did my install I used a12mm 12pt.boxend wrench w/ the handle off the floor jack for leverage and that went well for me.

Oh if you have any viberation after install, unbolt the d/s and rotate flange thenbolt up and test drive again. Good luck.

the gear puller failed? what kind of puller are you using? you must really be having a lot of trouble...are you using a harmonic balance puller? it should come right off....i can see the pinion nut being hard to break loose, but the pinion flange shouldn't be that hard to remove

i know for sure it'll come off easily with a harmonic balance puller, if you can get ahold of that, you'll be all set. if this is a four inch driveshaft, don't forget the relocate the e brake cable...and while you have the shaft out, it would probably pay to massage the floor board where that cross member is that's tacked to the floor board about half way back. i need to take mine back out and massage the cross member a little bit. it rubs occasionly just enough to put a little shine on the driveshaft

unless of course your car isn't lowered

yeah, it is finished and pulls significantly harder...only problem is when i decelerate, it whines and gets worse the lower the RPM's go....

i am not sure if this is being caused by the e-brake cable relocation, losing too much gear oil, or the need to rotate the driveshaft...

I had nothing but issues with my 1 piece so I took it out and never looked back.
