My Battery Is Going...
...before everyone yells, I tried the search first, but the search function isn't working.
2006 S197 GT. Left work tonight, and she nearly didn't want to fire. Sloooow cranking - definitely a battery on the way out. I checked - no lights or anything were left on. When I got it to fire, the radio reset the time to 12:00 and ran thru some kind of self check.
Drove it home on an hour commute, no problems. Got home and tried to fire again, which it did just fine. To test, I restarted three or four times, each time the battery got weaker.
So, before it leaves me stranded, I'm going to get a replacement battery at the auto parts store.
Does anyone have the battery group info, CCA, etc. for the replacement? Would prefer to go Interstate brand (I know Optima is best, but my Stang is a lease...)
