Default Anyone know how to remove the 1/4 windows?

The only window I've ever removed in my life was from a 67 cougar, I'm pretty sure the same technique does NOT apply. Anyone know how to remove a 1/4 window? I've heard you need a special tool, what is it and where do I get it?

Edit to add: And any hints as how to reinstall it would be handy as well!

Special Tool...

Yea.. it is called a BFH.

http://smittystoolchest.com/pro182574.html

With this special window removal tool you can remove any window quickly and easily.

In certain conditions, this tool may also be used to open locked doors and trunks.

However, be warned, If you are found storing this window removal tool in your car and the police pull you over there is a good chance they will inquire why you have it. In some states it is Ilegal to store window removal tools such as this in your motor vehicle.

Sweet, congrats! Hope it's there by summer!

I was thinking I'd go to an Auto Glass place, but figured they wouldn't give any secrets away and tell me to bring it in and let them do it. Guess I'll try next week. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Proff W...a build date! Awesome, I can't wait to see pics, the way you have been talking about her she is gonna be hella hot.

I did notice that the window is in weird.....usually they are held in place with some sort of molding but these almost seem to "float", there has to be a special tool. You could always use PW's idea..it would work.
