MGW Shifter Issue

MGW Shifter Issue
I have an MGW shifter and love it except for 1 thing. It seems to bind going into 2nd gear. I was wondering if anybody else has had this issue? I have the CHE K-member brace with torque limiters so torque bind shouldn't be an issue. With that being said, I never have the issue during regular street driving, just during a race at the track. No other gear is an issue, just the 1st to 2nd shift.
I never had this issue with the stock shifter so I'm pretty sure it's a shifter issue.
Thanks for any help you can provide. [/align]

RE: MGW Shifter Issue
I know, I thought it just needed broken in so I've given it a few months but it's no better. I'm going to take a look under the car this weekend since there isn't a points race to see if I can see why it's doing it. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion or two.

someone might just check to make sure you got that end longer end facing the driver side i also herd once that someone had the tq limiter to tight and it twisted the tranny

good idea if that not the problem then maybe it good be a bad shifter or maybe there could be somethign wrong with the tranny linkage but thats the only things i can think of

RE: MGW Shifter Issue
I have the BMR sway bar delete, after I installed the K-member brace, you can't tell the sway bar is missing. There is a little more NVH with the TQ limiters but other than that, I have no issues unless it is what is causing my shifter issue.
You can't see it unless the car is on a lift so i just ordered the black one.
