Ok well its been about a week and the band I got on the mustang looks ugly as hell the edge is coming up already and they tried to tint over the dot matrix and half is sticking ok half isn't. Any ideas?

this is why i found a place that will give me a lifetime warranty against defects. dude basically said the tint will outlive the car. i'm definitely putting it up to the test!

are u talking about ur windshield..that is stupid to tint over the dots.

take it back and tell them to do it again, if it is a quality shop then they will do it for free to fix the prob. Most places around me gaurantee their work.

1. Park it directly in the sun, try to get some heat on it to tighten up the tint.

2. Take it back, have it done again.

3. Take it off.

Not much you can do about the tint not sticking to the dot matrix. Most shops tell you that when they install it. I got it to stick on my car, but I use only the best tint film Llumar. If they used cheap film it probably won't stick, but ya go complain and make them redo it. The tint shouldn't be peeling, and most tint places say its a lifetime warranty but its not. One of my friends got his audi done at another shop and they told him he had a lifetime warranty...well it was cheap film and started to bubble and turn purple so they told him it wasn't warrantied at all. So I'm gonna replace it for him for free.

Ya it's lifetime I'm still pissed off they like halfassed the windshield band.

I havent heard of a tint place that doesnt do lifetime warrantys

tons of places i asked around here didn't have that. they expected a redo every 4-5 years.

its hard to get it to stick to the dots do it on the out side if it doesnt stick
