Anyone have any good or bad stories about ordering something prepainted? Wasnt sure if that might be a better option than getting something unfinished....?

Ya, before I finally bought the GT/CS rear bumper, I had ordered a painted GT bumper from Paint Devil on Ebay. BIG MISTAKE.

THe paint came looking like this:

They wanted me to SEND IT BACK.. so they could fix it. I was supposed to pay for shipping?!

They returned a little of the money I paid, but not all of it. The bumper was not OEM, it was an OEM mold.

Just know before you buy from these places you could get screwed.. I wish I could spend the money I wasted on paint for my new bumper, but I learned my lesson...

Holy crikey!!!! If anything, I was gonna get prepainted stuff directly from Roush. I'd like to think that with as much as they make, the things they ship out get painted along side the things they install directly onto their Roush cars. And if that's the case, they're probably in good shape. Thanks for the story and the pic though!

Ya no problem, I like to tell people so they dont buy from those *** cheeses at Paint Devil. lol.

Roush should be fine, I wouldn't worry about them.

The lowest price I could find on the GT/CS was $308 from Kev at Clevenger Ford, but he's in CA and it would cost too much to ship.

So I called Dale Jarret Ford near me (NC) and got it for $355 unpainted.

Now I gotta find somewhere to get it painted.

It should cost no more than $635 total.
