Default Problem with O/R X-pipe. Help please.

A couple weeks ago, I picked up a Pypes O/R X-pipeused. The only problem was that 2 of the 3 o2 sensor bungs had damaged threads. I got the threads retapped and the sensors screwed in perfectly after that. The installation went fine, no problems at all. No for the problems...

Ever since I installed the midpipe, I've been hearing this clunking/chirping/gurgling sounds coming from the passenger side footwell. The sound starts once the motor warms up. I reached under the car and tried to see if there was any play/movement with the midpipe, but it didn't budge at all. Also, there seems to more more noise coming from the right side of the motor.

I'm getting really frustrated with this midpipe and I'm considering just putting the stock one back on. If I can't find where these annoying *** noises are coming from within the next few weeks I may just end up putting the stock one bak on.

I was not pleased with my o/r x pipe and put the cats back on. Very happy I did.

I found the problem. It was not a leak, the support off of the passenger side pipe was rubbing against the metal part of the hanger on the transmission cross member. I tried to move the exhaust around to put some space between them and I noticed that even with a small gap between them it eliminated all the vibration in the passenger compartment that I had before. Unfortunately it is still hitting when the engine twists under load so there is still some adjustments that need to be done.

Yes, but you also have Stingers. Since I don't have money I need to use the stock mufflers. It doesn't sound as bad as everyone said it was going to. Plus I like the small power and mileage increase.

I just wanted to update this thread with the solution of the problem I was having. I ended up having to remove BOTH hangers for the trans crossmember, both of them were contacting the brackets.
