My tuner uses the sniper software both the special forces and the delta force products. The special forces is only good for producing a "base tune" while the delta force product is what allows you to perform the fine tuning functions. Delta force is much more money...

He (my tuner) chose sniper because he does not have to require his customers to buy a handheld for storing/uploading the custom tune. He can then offer his custom tuning services at a cheaper overall cost to the customer. I've had mine tuned and re-tuned several times with no problems.
