I've been waitinig for those pics Karen! [sm=icon_rock.gif]Looks great, i see YOU were able to make the chrome trim piece work Did you have to paint anything behind it and if so what and how did u do it. Now that you have this done you cant stop. I expect the lower grille to go in by next weekend. [sm=bling.gif][sm=happybounce.gif][sm=groupwave.gif][sm=massbounce.gif]

Karen,

Excellent job, simply beautiful.......

So, you were correct in that the stock Bullitt trim ring was held on with just 3M tape......[8D][8D] Looks like you probably stripped off the old 3M, re-applied new, and clamped it down to the Billet grille for awhile....

Oh, and obviously you painted the AC condenser, and a few other blingy silver piecesbehind the grille with flat black spray.....I am betting Rustoleum, correct....????

Very nice job my dear, your Baby is looking sweeter by the day.......[sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=bounceybounce.gif][sm=bounceybounce.gif]

Well, let's see... I left for the mall at 10:30- got back around noon... It was at least half finished... I then added my 2 cents of what I wanted it to look like and viola, it was done shortly there after.

Seriously, He actually didn't start my grille until I got back. I really was going to do it with him, I just was not feeling all that great- so I stayed in. I did watch closely and learned from him while he removed the trim ring from the old grille, when heremoved the 3M from the trim ring and when he applied new 3M to the trim ring and then I even helped hold it together upon completion.

I honestly do appreciate all Mike does to help me with the car. He has the expierence and is a great teacher...Not too mention the finished product is perfect and I love it.

Thanks everyone for your comments. It really does mean a lot. I enjoy reading and posting here too much... if that's possible.

BTW- He got chicken for dinner!!! LOL
