Default Center fog light grille...all the same??

I am about to pull the plug on the center fog light grille, Latemodel has one for $130, dont know the brand, but have seen others like 3D Carbon and Steet Scene for a little more. Are they all pretty much the same as far as quality goes?? I have seen some different brands on some of your profiles and they look awesome, but is there a difference between them all?? I dont mind forking out a little more if its worth it. Thanks in advance for the help

IIRC mines a Street Scene. Had it a year and a half with no probs til I had to change a fog lamp bulb. Tried to take it out and most of the tabs just snapped off. Didn't have that problem with the stock Ford grill when I took it out. Still using the centermount grill as the pins in the radiator cover hold the top in place, the tabs on the bottom of the grill are still holding it to the bumper.

Don't go for the cheap one unless you want to modify (read: cut into) your radiator support to get it to fit. That's the one I have. Get either the 3D or SS one. The SS one keeps the fogs a little further apart.

I have a SS and its a perfect fit.
I have seen others (3D Carbon)
that require bending of sheetmetal
to clear the fog bulbs in the rear. [:'(]

you dont have to bend anythign with the 3d carbon grill i dont know were you herd or seen that. the 3d carbon is awsoem thats what i have the lights are closer in the middle then all the other ones and it came with brighter bulbs for the fogs and with the tribar pony you dont have to cut anythign just take off the old one and put on this one, and the 3dcarbon one is a ford license product

question:
how does mounting the fogs DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the radiator effect the airflow to the rad.?

which is the grille liscensed by ford?

which has the fogs pulled in the closest?

AND

how did you release the lower tabs when removing the stock grille?

3d carbon is the one liscensed by ford and the fog are the closest togehter, and is comes with white bubls for the fogs and a tribar pony emblem for the grille. and this grille has more open holes then the stock one so there is plenty of air flow
