It's really not that hard to install. I takes a couple of hours. You can buy the switch from anyu Honda Dealer. IT's the same button as it on the S2000. You can use a connector from a floppy drive to connect directly to the swich and wire some extensions to get where you need.

The nice thing about this mod is that if you wire it as hown in these instructions, you can use the button to provide Aux power to all your accessories for a few minutes without the keys. I find it very useful. I use it to let my daughter listen to music in the car while I run errands. I also find it useful to put the top up or down, raise or lower the windows, etc without having to go and get the keys.

do cop detectors actually warn you when a cop is nearby or just when theyre tracking you?
They only warn you if the Cop hasa chip implanted in him

There is no need to remove the steering wheel, just a small plastic panel underneath the steering wheel. It is just held on with 3 screws. This will give you access to the ignition harness. You just need to expose the starter wire. It is the dark green wire. You simply use a vampire tap to splice into this wire or you can expose the copper wiring and solder a splice onto this wire. This splice goes to the switch and the other leg of the switch goes to a source of 12 V power. I used the Cig. lighter + 12 V. This will provide a 12 V signal to the ignition circuit and in turn provides aux power for a few minutes. If the ignition key is in the on position, pushing the button will actually start the car.

If you use the S2000 switch as I did, connecting a ground wire will make the Engine start light go on. This is avery dim neon light that draws very little power. This light is ALWAY ON. I' have had my car parked for up to 4 weeks and this light is not enough to drain the battery. If you are worried about it, you do not need to conect the ground wire.

I agree, it looks kinda cool, but to me - it's more trouble than it's worth. If you like it enough to get into the dash, by all means - go for it.
