if you all are interested, the worn pilot supersport in 295/30/20 is 26.4 lbs

the new bfg rival in 315/35/20 is 34.4 lbs which feels like a pretty big difference in weight. approx 1.7 inch difference in height, approx .8 inch difference in width.

slightly more drivetrain power loss, but they should more than make up for it with lack of spinning

they will lower the gear ratio bit and add a bit of rotational mass - but they arent heavy for their size , pilot supersports are some of the lightest tires and they are only like 1 lb lighter than these in this size, but yea they are big

BFG baffles me a bit with these tires. They look like a great option for ST classes, except the only 265 and 285 sizes are for 20" wheels. WTF? Thanks for showing us RWD owners some love... NOT!

stock 3.31, going to be tall gearing but this should help with traction on the street i hope, 2nd gear will redline at like 73 or so.

Id probably bog pretty bad on the track if i went, or be a bit rough on the clutch. right now i have 305 35s and they just spin to like 70 mph on the street in most conditions

damn lol I just bought some 295-35-18, was on 3.55 and I looking at 4.10 for agressiv street pavment tearing and pull but i have 28'' tall hoosier for drag...im just not sure how a 26.3'' tall tire will do with a 4.10,, lots of shifting lol..wish they made 295-40-18 in the deal I got, got two brand new bf good rich g-forge TA paid 150$ for the pair..and well for the 4.10..it already purchased and sleeping in my basement since 3 months waiting to get installed, i guess if it make no sens and isnt any fun to drive ill ditch the 295-35 and get something taller.

Wide *** tires.... Make sure your post a pic when installed. I am running nitto 555r 305/40/18 on a 10.5 wheel with 0 bulge. 315's look like they would fit easily.
It's gonna look really cool.
