The WMS system is actually shown in that thread. It's got the wide tray at the front of the engine, rather than in the corner. The system itself just makes more sense to me, so I'll need to find a hood that gives me the look, and the function I'm after. The Mystery8 is EXACTLY what I want visually, but I'd need to mod it to get the functionality from it. If that's feasible I'll do it. But that's some time in the future.

I like the WMS system too - it does look like a more logical path for the air to flow. But it would be a pain to make my hood work since the duct is built into the hood. And so many of the aftermarket hoods dump over the factory air box. But at least they are functional.

I have seen some hoods that have scoops that simply open into the engine compartment - you could fab your own ducting.

Looks good. I've been wanting one like that for quite some time. Just not sure on the extensions. They look fine on yours, but I've seen some where they didn't, so I dunno.

I think a chin helps a lot with that combo.

If you want some close up pics of the nose / extensions - let me know.

Not necessary. I think it's very dependent on the car. I think yellow, white, and red probably won't looks as good because they don't have any metallic in the paint, to distract you from the extra seam. I think the metallic colors, especially the darker ones, look better. But yours looks great.

I've got an extra hood. Someday I'll get around to messing with it. I wanna use a '69 Mach 1 scoop, make it functional, and somehow recreate the tear-drop. I know there's a hood out there like it, but I have an extra hood just sitting there...
