This is the clip that made me decide to pull the trigger on my exhaust choice. Same headers, same Magnaflow CATTED X pipe, but I have Magnapacks which sound a bit more aggressive......I can't wait for the install.
it does sound sick but i wanna keep my mac a/b ya know they sound mean i just want to make it meaner lol. thats why i dont know what to do with the mid pipe should i go x or go with the prochamer and then down the line i want to get high flow cats and headers

Prochamber will definitely sound deeper than an X. The problem with X-pipes is that they make a buzzing sound in the exhaust notes instead of a deeper, more hollow sound.

I've noticed that MOST of the X pipes that I've looked at, look like pretty much two right angle bends in the pipe, where they meet, creating a crossover section. What's different about the Magnaflow X is that it's completely hollow, I mean there is like no cross over, the exhaust just seems to dump into a hollow "X" shaped chamber, if you guys are getting what I'm saying. How is this effecting tone? Maybe a dumb question....

The prochamber is an X and an H and neither.....if that makes sense. The exhaust enters the chamber like an H...straight in....but exits out the back of the chamber like an X.

X-pipes are ok as long as they are catted. They just require a little more work than an H to make them sound good.
