I like the tint...I ordered mine from ebay too,I ordered for all my lights. I'm afraid to tackle the project myself because I don't want to mess it up. Any advice???

I haven't used the vinyl tints, but it can't be that hard. Be sure to use a soapy water solution, have a dry rag handy and I think those kits come with a small squeegee. Have faith in yourself
BleedinBlu-I like the way you think! I'm going to try it this weekend; should I use sopy water or by the solution they sell at autozone?
I'd be willing to bet the solution they sell at Autozone IS soapy water. I didn't know they sold anything like that. I would just use tap water with dish soap, that's all I've ever used when applying decals.

Sounds good...I'm going to start off small and do the corner lights first. They all came pre-cut so it shouldn't be too difficult. Thanks for the encouragement and advice!

i have no idea the actual percent. the idea was to have smoked taillights, or tinted, not blacked out and looking painted.

word of advice: use dish soap and water, only 5 or 6 drops of dish soap in a little spray bottle. spray a LOT of water on the taillight and BOTH sides of the film before you put it on, and before that, clean the surface VERY WELL. put the film against the taillight and it should be able to slide around a little. position it carefully, then squeegee away.
