blue smoke a tail pipe

Default blue smoke a tail pipe

Started my new gt up only 3,500kms and my friend was behind and seen blue smoke come out both mufflers ,then waited 4 hours then started itup again looked myself everything seems fine has anyone noticed this before ,i pick it up at the auto detailling shop thats when my friend noticed ,maybe he flooded it when he backed it out the garage then 1 hour later i picked it up and started it and smoke came out make any sence

Yes, your engine is about to blow up. Check TSB 123456-90 and call your dealer. This situation is critical, don't drive the car anymore, you could destroy it....

I bet it was just some wax or some kind of residue on/in the pipes that got burned off.

I've seen "blue smoke" before; but not coming out of my tail-pipes...lol

This is common with the new 3v 4.6. It happens when you turn the car on and shut it down before the motor heats up (i.e pulling it out to wash it or something) and start it back up not too long after (hour or two). Mine has done this a couple of times when washing it. This gets asked probably once a week and its common. Dont worry
