Default Extremely heavy clutch... need opinion between aftermarket and OEM

My clutch is extremely heavy... compared to a few of my friends with 07+ mustangs its horrible. I am wondering if its because it about to go out? ive never had a clutch go out because ive only had this car for almost 40k so i dont know what it would feel like when its about to go. Should i just go to ford and get a stock clutch (i have extended warranty) and HOPE thats its lighter than this one, or should i go after market. If so what company? are aftermarket that much lighter? I really hate having a heavy *** clutch for a daily driver and its one of the reasons i might be selling my car if i get a good offer.

well extended warranty or not, the dealer will not replace the clutch for free..... my 07 mustang gt clutch was super soft...... but after reading your post and seeing the comment you made about heavy clutches and the reason for maybe getting rid of your car, it kinda sounds like an excuse to buy something else.... Thats cool though, you dont have to beat around the bush with us, if you want a new car, you want a new car.. simple... GL on what your plans are.

i wanna put in royal purple.

And yeah the car has been for sale for a little while, but im not getting any offers, so i might just keep it. if i do im going back to a quiet exhaust, im tired of being loud, and i wanna make it easier and smoother to daily drive. i wish i could get good gas mileage in this thing

Anyone have an aftermarket clutch they would like to tell me about???

I am looking into some clutches right now but I doubt you will like the ones I am going for as they are going to be high torque comp clutches. By the way, when I said fluid, I meant the the fluid in the slave cylinder. You may just have broken down fluid or air in the lines
