'07 GT camber question - I like chicken nuggets
I am installing the camber bolts myself. I may or may not actually set the camber myself (read below).
QUESTION:
As the front suspension moves up and down, does the camber change?
The video I watched (see below) has the camber being adjusted when the suspension is unloaded with the wheel off. If the camber (as I suspect) gets more positive when the suspension is unloaded, then the camber can only be checked with the vehicle on the ground, and wheel and tire in place.
So help me, tell me what is correct. If I can, I do have tools to check the camber myself (highly accurate digital angle gauge I could put on the rotor), but if I have to do it with the wheel on, I am not as comfortable doing it myself as there is not a great flat surface on the wheel/tire combo (you need the special alignment tools).
Here is the video link I watched. My camber bolts are BMR, but the concept and function is exactly the same as these, just a different car shown.

RE: '07 GT camber question - I like chicken nuggets
Bumping for today. I'm hoping someone here has installed the camber bolts, or watched their alignment to know the answer.
The "i like chicken nuggets" in the title was just to get a few more people to read it.

Yeah, normally the alignment should be measured when the wheel is on the ground, especially if you are looking to hit a specific number. otherwise the video looked accurate.
When I installed my camber bolts, I used a level to gauge how much camber changed, but I wasn't looking to hita specific target; I just wanted equal change on both sides. it was a magnetic level I put on the rotor with the wheels off.
