Not a problem for me, my baby never has seen rain....except for maybe on the dealer's lot, before we met....[sm=yeahsmile.gif]

Shouldn't be a problem unless you do what this dipstick did!

So much for a Crown Vic police package!

In addition, Mustangs have a splash guard just behind the front bumper.

I know what you mean by your friends intake!!
My cuz has a cold air intake in his dd civic and it bends and goes into the fender to get cold air!
The problem is the tire is right beneath it therefore if it were to rain the tire would kick up water!!
I dont think there should be a problem cuz the jlt2 you have bolts to the same location as the stock one!!

no this should not happen unless you run into a huge puddle but if you did the stock set up would do the same thing due to it gets its air from the same place.

A piece of aluminium and a dremel tool and some pliers and you can make a decent heatshield.

Anyone remember that thread a few months ago where someone drove their S197 into a shallow river and took pics????? That was the most retarded thing I have ever seen.......maybe we should find him/her and ask them if they had any issues with water

Please remember that the Shelby GT Mustang (not the GT500) and the Mustang Bullitt, both have a Ford CAI.

It's not a problem if installed correctly
