Default True Synthetic motor oil

ok so im going to be giving my car its first oil change under my ownership, i know the oil weight has to be 5W20 (or is it?) and i want to switch to a full synthetic. now i have read threads befor about his very topic and im still not sure. so which oils are TRUE 100% synthetic? would Q horsepower be considered a full blown synthetic? because Q Horsepower is what i was thinking of switching to.

Mobil1 is full synthetic if you buy the Mobil1 full sythetic motor lubricant.

Mobil 1 has been my choice since the stuff came out back in the seventy's. Never had an issue. Mobile one is the only oil I will use in my vehicles, from engine to rearend. I'm sure RP is a good oil too but I wonder, how much better to justify the cost?

I agree. In the past, he has said that M1 was an inferior oil if sold at Walmart, sort of like they got the floor sweepings or some damn thing.

ive always used rp. i used it in the engine and in the rear. never had a single problem with either. yes it costs a good bit, yes you could save money, but it is well worth it. i did changes every 5k, it looked like i could get double that if i wanted. and i ran the car on the track twice a week when the track was open.
