I'm 24, Been driving since I was 16. I've never been pulled over, or been in a wreck.

You should trade your Mustang in for a KIA.

Be wary of aftermarket sheetmetal. Usually will have issues with fit. You wil be much better with a used original than a new Taiwan piece.

I tried running it with TCS off today. Thats no fun, i slammed her into 4rth and 6700 and i lost all power, looking down to see my TCS kicked off and put the orange "squirrely" mark on inside my tach. Normally id just get a solid chirp. needless to say i turned TCS back off and kept on with my fun. Trade it in for a Kia, hell no. i am not saying im the best driver, and not the worst, i like laying it on the edge. And ive been burned 2 out of 25,000 times that ive tried something "out of the normal driving habbits-aka. crazy" I am going to be buying another GTP very soon for a daily driver and for winter purposes and probably only take out the stang for the 1/4 mile and on weekends. -Jon

just for the record.... I'm 17...been driving for over a year....been driving only fast sporty cars for the most part.... no point on my license... never been pulled over.....no accidents that were my fault....and I still have tons of fun....I just know how to control my car and my environment...

how in the world do you lose control going 35 mph and slam into a fence?.... was the road wet?
CONGRATS, thats pretty solid.

lol yeah im 17 too... all i drove for the first year of my license were very sporty cars, but i cant say i have not been pulled over. I CAN tell you I have have no points on my record, thanks to traffic school and a VERY generous officer and plenty of other things =) Ive gotton off 2 tickets just from being polite.... No tickets since i got my stang in march tho!
yeah, I bet every cop double checks your speed when you're driving down the street in that beast [8D]

Default Well

I finished the car up about 2 weeks ago and finally got a chance for some pics. I put on a new fender, painted by local shop, a hew headlight and a newtakeoff.com front cover. I dont have a fender emblem yet, but i may put on something different. I ended up buying a daily driver( 02 monte SS) so i wotn have to beat the stang up and now i can just put on some DR's because ive only been driving it on the weekends to the track. The hood was scuffed pretty bad but it was mostly silver PAINT from the fence and that did actually buff off. i had to paint the lip a tad but the paint is a tad bit of a shade off, but the clear is so shiny and smooth im not worried. It came out GREAT imo and you cant even tell that the door, fender, hood and bumper clip were all painted at different times. In the end it was about a 800$ mistake, but my insurance company wont know! Is it me or does the car look longer/sleeker with no fender emblem, and the car is not lowered but the rear tires are a smaller diam. In the meantime while it was down i took off the steeda shifter handle and put on my Hurst handle. It is about a 1/2 inch longer but its still a great feel having the Steeda STS, no rattleing and still the look of the chrome stock and white ball! -Jon

http://www.newtakeoff.com/mustanggtf...2005-2008.aspx for 200$ in vista blue! That saved me a bunch, i wish i could have found a fender already painted too, thats what took the longest, getting the fender, then getting it painted, etc. The bumper even came with the lower grill and was a 1 hour install. If i ever get any rock chips i will probably just get another front clip. Shipping was a tad tho, i dont exactly remember how much. -Jon

I feel sorry for the poor son of a bitch that ends up buying your car when you are done with it.
