went to fill the tank tonight and couldn't hardly trickle the gas in, and it wasn't the gas pump, you could see the gas come up the tube. took forever to put in 8 gallons,its like a vent is plugged?? anyone have this problem?????? 2006 V6 pony. tried the search

i have the very same problem on my 05 gt everytime i fill up, ive tried bunch of different things to fix it but none have worked.

the car is new to us, we have filled it from 1/4 tank twice before with no problem??? we had just picked it up from a air bag recall from the dealer...its still has warrenty so if it happens again its going in. wierd

I traded a 2006 V6 in on the 2008 V8. The 2006 had that problem, the 2008 doesn't. It is a problem for sure and Ford must have figured it out with the newer models.

Had my 07 GT for 2 years and 11K miles. It did the same thing a couple of times when it was new but never again.
