Do I REALLY need a tune with shorty's?

First off, no, I'm not getting LT b/c I have an extended warranty through my dealership and do not want to mess with removing the factory H and cats. I did speak to the lead tech at the place I got my car and offered to install the shorty's. Eventually I'll get SCT and C&L from brenspeed, but headers are a cheaper start. So the tune WILL be coming, but not for a while. So getting these installed w/o a tune isn't going to be a problem, is it? I know i'll get more out of it with a tune...thoughts?

Which shorties are you getting? FRPP?

I want shorties too, but I can't decide which ones I like best.

I just figured your dealership wouldn't install a non-Ford product.

I don't really see much difference in all the header brands.
