I live in TX and haven't installed my front plate since purchasing the car in July 07. I've never been hassled by local LE but got on thetoll(f'intoll that I PAY to drive on!) and a trooper pulls me over. I have an Escort 9500i detector so I look at him in confusion and ask him what the hell he pulled me over for. Front license plate he says. jackass...
It's a $10 ticket if you go in there and with a cute smile tell the court secretary woman that you "fixed it". If you're honest like me and tell her that it's still not on you have to pay $125. bull****.
