Default HID's for 05+ - factory vs aftermarket

Ive seen more then a few stangs showing up lately on the lots with factory HID's. now i know that the SN95 and new edge housings arent designed for them, but Im not sure about S197's. but are the factory 500 dollar HID's any different from a 240 dollar aftermarket set? and do they work any better on those cars since its factory, and not some aftermarket kit thrown in a stock(and normally incorrectly designed housing) headlight?

and btw, this is tech. it goes here[8D]

K OEM vs after market:

OEM: Cost $800-1000, Work Great

Aftermarket- Cost $75-$100, Work Great, Choose the Color/Brightness you want

my opinion is go aftermarket I did over a yr ago, and im still getting compliments...

I have the 35W, 6000K BiXenon kit from Retro-Solutions and I'm thrilled with it.
