hooking up a dummy LED alarm light..
there was a post (which i already went through the entire thing to try and find an answer) but he did the same thing im trying to do.. but he just left it with batteries.. i want to run it so i can just forget about it and not ever have to mess with a siwtch to turn it on/off
there has to be a fuse somewhere or a lead or somethign..

What about the motion sensors next to the overhead lights?Of course it would only be activated when you set the alarm.
Unless of course you don't have this feature and that's why the need for the dummy light.
We need 157db on this one.

What are you trying to do, a dummy LED for a fake alarm system? Just tie it into something that is hot even when the car is turned on and install a switch for it under the dash or something so you can turn it off if you want.
