What ever happened to..
The gal who had new hood pins installed on her red mustang which they totally messed up? Last I had heard or read was she was giving them the chance to possibly fix the pins correctly (they drilled too large of bolt holes, tightened them too much crimping the hood, etc..) but I think I evidently missed the rest of the story cause I dont know of any resolution yet and am curious. This happened around 1-2 months ago?

That would be me. Got a pm u guy's were wondering what happened.
No....They are not getting the chance to fix it. The owner of the shop continues to treat me like a piece of $hit and hang up on me. He won't admit anything was wrong with the install, lies about saying he wanted to shoot some kind of hardning stuff between the two layers of the hood to get it to pop up. Hood pins are in the correct position he tells me. I was there for 5 1/2 hours, for an hour and a half install, but yet he tells me it's my fault the
"job isn't finished" because I had to leave!!!
That's what he tells me, "the job isn't finished". Oh...the job IS finished. He just wants to cover it all up and make me go away. That's not gonna happen.
He's pissed I take it to shows and people see it!!!! I never seen freakin' customer service like this in my whole life!!!!!!! Admit the installer was new and incompetent, Give me a new hood and stripes....I'd be a happy person. I was told..."that's not going to happen".......
So yeah....I spoke with an attorney, and I'm taking themto court. Also he told me where to file a few complaints against them.
What I need is pic's of cars with hood pins. I've done a search and found some, and have some from people here. But I need more, with under hood pics. Would apprecite it if you could send me some or post some.
