The one that had a metal connector on it. Seems strange.

its so you can snap it to the hook at the bottom and put your seat belt through it so its easier to grab...

It helps hold the seatbelt closer to the driver so it's easier to reach when you buckle in. The metal tip connects to the magnetic end on the seat The belt goes through the loop made.

On my `06 it's on both driver and passenger seats.

As long as it does not say, "EJECT" or "REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT" don't worry about it.........

On '07s, I think it's only on the driver's side. Some don't have them at all. I use it.

Maybe because most rear seat passengers enter from that side. Only DS on my 2007.
