Same here ... almost daily I see somebody fly up and stop inches from my bumper ... It's incredible how many people seem to keep accelerating even when traffic is stopped in front of them. People sure do love to trust and test their brakes.

The ones that make me cringe are the yappers on the cell phones, yakin away, looking stuff up on their phones or thumbing through a day planner. You just hope no sudden braking event happens cause you just know that they don't have their full attention on their driving.
And whats with these chicks I see? They get into their car, start up, pull out of the parking spot and then, like clockwork, up comes the phone to the ear. Could they not make their call while sitting in the parking spot?
Glad it wasn't very serious. Just the same, people need to understand they are sharing the road with 3000 or more pounds of steel around them.

Dude, I almost got hit today too. This guy (looked likea newby in his soccer mom's suv) came over in my lane while I was passing him. Just gave me an excuse to slam down on the accelerator. [sm=burnout.gif]

yeah i had this dude in a 95 V6 mustang that hit 2 parked cars, ran a stop, flew into my front driver's side rim and bumber, then got out and started screaming at me asking if i didnt see him coming. Needless to say he was tanked. Smelled like a brewery. So i called the police and told'em to come quick cause i was about to kill him.

i almost got arrested because i had him on the floor when they arrived. But he was unharmed and there were bystanders that told the police he attacked me first which was true but only afteri insulted him in the most hurtfull way i could think of at the moment.

it was wrong to do but there are those moments and situations that make you as civilized as a caveman.

Lucky me the insurance guy was a mustang guy ( said he owned a 67 ) and gave me all four rims unfortunatly no new bumper cause it only scrapped a lil paint from the inside part of the wheel well. But the whole thing got repainted.
