i useally use armor all which works nice on shine but dosent really get bird **** and bugs off that well unless u have a bug spounge. You can also try mequiers i heard it works well but havent tried it yet. Also a thing i like to do is take a high concetration soap once a month or so to clean the car a little better but no shine after useing it.

I use Meguiars and it seems to take off the bug splats very well. I would like to try one of those dry wash products though, so I can wash the car in the garage without using a hose to rinse. Any one have experience with these? Are they any good? Name the brand you use.

I don't use soap. I use Optimum No Rinse Wash from Obsessivedetail.com. Once you've tried it, you'll never go back to anything else.

However, if the car is encrusted in bugs all over the front end and has been on a long highway drive I usually wash the car with something else. Meguiars gold car wash soap works good and it does a better job when the car is completely filthy vs. the no rinse.

I never use soap or water to clean my pony. All I use is Maquires quick detailer, if the car has a lot of dirt on it, I just overspray the heck out of it so the dirt doesnt scratch the clear coat.

turtle wax ice car wash, followed up by ice quick detail. i used it on my stang and use it on my evo and well use it on the new stang in the near future. works awsome. paint feels like glass. i was leaning on my fender right when i was done and i slipped because it was so smooth. lol
