4.10 guys let me know.
 

a guy at my work keeps telling me not to put my 4.10s in. saying im not going to like them and they would only be good if its kept stock.
he is also a chevy guy so i dont really listen to him.

can anyone hook up some advise. specs. etc.

Apples to oranges - unless someone who has owned an S197 Mustang with 4.10 gears is giving advice on the subject, their words are pointless and useless. That being said, I went from 3.27 to 3.73 in my old 96GT - waste of time[:'(] In my 05GT, I went straight to FRPP 4.10's and have not regretted it one single bit - and my car is 100% street driven, never been to the track. They make the car much more enjoyable to drive IMO. Don't let anyone without experience on the subject barf their so-called "knowledge" on you[8D]

I have 410s go with them you won't regret it. Don't listen to a Chevy guy are you kidding?

4.10s for my 08 gt/cs from 3.31s what a kick in the butt.Make sure you get the Ford racing A gears and get a good installer.

To me it depends. When Im driving my car with my 18s and 295/45 tires I get 250-280 miles to a tank but when Im driving with my 275/40/17s I get low 200s. If that doesnt matter to you performance wise you will feel the 4.10s.

Come on guys leave the Chevy guys alone. I was a Chevy guy once too. I have always been a fan of 4.10s though. Of course all applications are different, but it's all essentially the same effect.

My truck had 4.56s. My old Trans Am had 4.10s. Chevelles anywhere from 4.10 to 4.56. Mustang has 4.10s.All of them on the road too.

The people dead set against 4.10s are the people who got scared and bought 3.73s. There are no driveability issues at all. If I wasn't planning to supercharge I would be kicking myself for not going with 4.30s.

I wouldn't trade my 4.10's. I love em. I do a lot of surface street driving, and they rock stoplight to stoplight.....

I went from 3.31s to 4.10s, car is much funner to drive. No doubt.
