Got my car Dyno'ed!!
 

I finanlly got around to getting my car dyno'ed. I went to a shop called Rev Xtreme located in Sarasota, Florida. If you do a search on them, they specialize in Chevy's. I didnt get a dyno tune, I just got my car dynoed to check to make sure my air / fuel ration is good. My first run, I made 397 RWHP and 349 RWT. The owner of the shop told me that my car was running "off the charts rich" so we pluged in my diablo tuner and ended up after a couple of tries leaning out as much as the tuner would let us. (15% leaner) Last run which he said was still "off the charts rich" rewarded us with 428 RWHP and 369 RWT.

The only thing we couldnt figure out was the broken red line on the air / fuel chart. (the smaller one that is broken between about 3300 RPMs and 3500 RPMs) He said that my air / fuel was the green line. The only thing he said he thought it could be was that his Wide Band Harness got streched and broken, and he had to re-do the wiring to it while I was there. He thinks its interferance from the wiring in the cable. That doesnt sound right to me, can anybody help me out with this?

red line could be a guide for 14.8 ,you should hook up with justin at vmp for a dyno tune. hes up by daytona.

Actually not that red line, the smaller one that is broken between about 3300 RPMs and 3500 RPMs

My firend used a diablo tuner as well and was having the same problems of having really rich a/f ratios. I hate to say but I wish all ecu's were as open source friendly as my wrx. I just use a tactrix cable and free program and the possibilities are endless. Anyways, enough rant glad you saw some good gains how does the car feel?

I don't mean to hijack this thread but could you give some information on where vmp is. I live in daytona and would realy like to find someplace that knows what they are doing with a mustang. Thanks.
