What happens when you run with no TPMS on the wheels

Mine doesn't even ring in all the time. For a week or so, it will ring in when I first start the car. Then, it might not even show up at all....or 30 minutes into a drive it decides to ring in. Some system....hahaha. I just hit reset......I don't even notice myself doing it much of the time.

I didn't transfer my sensors when I put on my DD chromes and am very glad I didn't. The car didn't even register a TPMS Fault until I had 50 miles on the new wheels/tires, which to me proves how worthless the system is. Add to that the fact it doesn't tell you which tire is low and to what degree. By not adding the sensors to the new wheels I saved myself the cost of breaking down the old wheels/tires, buying new bands, and paying to have the new tires mounted on new wheels with the old sensors/new bands. I was able to buy wheel tire combo from American Muscle (with free mounting/balancing), drive over to their warehouse (local to me) and pick up my new rims, and put them on car myself. It takes about 1 second to hit reset when I start the car - a small price to pay IMO. I don't even get an audible alarm - just the "Tire Pressure Monitor Fault" message on the info center.
