no i wasnt trying to be an *** i was just taking pride in my car
we found a little toggle switch and we took the dash apart today and it seems like the alarm was put in after the vehicle was initially purchased. The damn thing was spliced into every possible wire in the car (very sloppy splicing too) could this have led to a short. The alarm is a ford product ill have to find it to see what model it is. The car starts pretty regularly now with but every now in then there is a delay in the instrument panel and very rarely it doesnt turn over and sounds like the batts dead.

Oh and one last thing when does the governer kick in on the v6's. Ive only gotten her up to 95 i dont want a ticket in my first week of owning

IDK about the governer but step on it and find out....and you HAVE to get a ticket in the first week it's included in the package of owning a mustang!!

I thought the V6 was limited to 115 and the GT's to 145...?
+1 on tune... Mine doesn't have a limiterexcept for the brick of aerodynamics.But still it feels cool knowing you aren't limited by the gov't.

I have had a tune since the first week I got the car, but I am pretty sure the GT has no limiter at all. It is drag limited to 145mph with stock power.
I dont max my car out ever, but I would hope with 420rwhp I could get up to 155-160 mph.
Aerodynamics arent this cars strong suit though.
