Catch Can Help for Supercharger!!
I recently installed a procharger kit on my car, and also got a catch can. I plumbed it to the passenger side valve cover. I also capped off the driver side valve cover. I recently went to get my car dynoed and my tuner told me that it was all wrong and that i need another catch can on the driver side....
Can anybody help me out. Any pictures and diagrams would be great.

yea, the catch can should be on the driver side. although you could have it on both sides, most blowby comes from the driver side on the s197. heres a link to the oil separator thread

RE: Catch Can Help for Supercharger!!
My catchcan only came with one hose. Im assuming that i just plumb it only into the valve cover? Or do I need a catch can that has 2 inputs, one for the valve cover and one for just after the throtle body?

what kind of catch can do you have?
mine is on the driver's side, the hose going from the valve cover to the catch can then to the intake, replacing the PCV line. i've also seen others w/ a vented catch can that goes from the valve cover to the catch can, then capping off the hole just after the throttle body.

I have a vented catch can. So I guess I can just swap it over to the driver side valve cover and cap off the passenger side valve coverand be all set? (I have my surge valve and boost gauge hooked up to the hole just after the throtle body. Will this set up work?

WHOA!!! ProCharger set-up ventsfrom the passenger side. Just use the catch can there and you are fine. I havent set my catch can up yet. Still trying to find a suitable mount for it. (Dont want it to look all ghetto) I did find a clamp for a Lincoln LS P/S pump that fits the Stephs can perfectly. Just need to make something to mount it to the strut tower thingy that hangs out.
