Default TVS S/C numbers

More news on this S/C just posted about 2 hours ( on another forum) agoconfirmed numbers 540rwhpon a stock block on pump gas 560rwhp w100 octane, confirmed trapspeeds 130mph.

Of course this is pushing it on a stockmotor (R.A)but looks like on a built SB thisTVS S/Cwill put out some very nice power.

JDM
We do carry and offer the TVS units now. And your right they are a winner!! The TVS is capable of about 700 RWHP, on the stock motor and our upgrade kit you can make nearly 550 RWHP on the stock motor. Now that is an extreme amount of power for the stock motor so we mostly set people up for around 500-510 RWHP. This is safe for pump gas and daily use. I have already seen a car handle 540 for pump gas and has around 5000 miles of use on it of hard, hard driving. The same car made over 560 on 100 octane and has taken a thrashing at the drag strip too!! ET's are disclosed, traps speeds nearing 130mph!!!!

The Roush TVS is selling for $5899 from Roush
We offer the Twin GT500 fuel system, Pre gapped Autolite plugs, and a Custom tune with SCT software for an additional $1100. making a total of $6999

You can only get this kit through JDM Engineering and Stage 3 motorsports. We are doing the tuning for Stage 3 and together we have done over 15 cars already! These are really a nice clean install and make some serious power!!

I think your going to have to wait till the end of August (MM&FF -JDM setup)for that number unless they post it. This S/C and the numbers above are at the low end of what this thing can produce, on a built motor this super charger is going to put up somevery nicenumbers on a 3V.

This S/C imo from what I know (I do know more)is more for the person who plans on a built motor now or down the road down the road or doesn't mind pushing the stock motor.

Received a couple e-mail questions on something.

So I just wanted to add something to be clear on my above post (for built motor) from my understanding if you put this S/C on a S 197 the min rwhp will be around 510 detuned from around 540rwhp. If you wanted to run say 450rwhp my understanding is that will not be possible at the present time with the TVS S/C unless a new pulley setup is designed ( if possible) or comes out, this s/c setup at it lowest (psi - pulley) starts at 540rwhp (detuned 510 rwhp) on a factorystock S197motor. You can't go by the Roush S/C HP numbersits on a different built motor (specs comp)vs a stock motor.

The above is only imo from my understanding on this TVS S/C.

Lowest pulley starts at around 540rwhp!.Not gonna take your word unless someone on the forums actually has the TVS and posts numbers. Sounds sort of ridiculous.

i hear ya black, it sounds odd....

the only thing i can think of, is that
there is not enough room for a larger
pulley? very strange if that's the case
