I've got an automatic with 4.10 gears. The feeling from 3.31 to 4.10 is AWSOME. I got mine done at a ford dealer for $325 labor and I supplied the gears. Combine the gears with a CAI, 93 race tune and O/R H pipe the car lunges from a stop when I barely touch the pedal. Also when I gun it, it will squeal the tires and bark them from 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd. Not bad for an automatic.
As far as gas, I run 93 octane in mine but I also use a bamachips 93 race tune. Youre not suppose to use higher octane gas without the tune. Stick with 87 octane. To use higher octane they change the timing.

Nice on the gears warmachine. I thought I recognized your car at the dyno day. Maybe I will see you around sometime.

Have you been greasing those bushings? .....might be a reason for the 3 cracks in the bushing or do you beat the hell out of the car on a regular basis? Just curious

RE: mmmmmm....GEARS....
When I first installed it, I had trouble greasing one of the sides because the bracket blocked the fitting. That's probably what caused it to crack. Should be an easy fix if I can just get the bushings.
